App: Fırlat Developer: EMA Labs Effective date: 5 September 2026
The notes you write are never collected, stored, or transmitted. They stay on your own device and are not backed up to any cloud. Anonymous statistics about how you use the app are collected.

01 Overview

This privacy policy explains how the Fırlat app handles personal data. Fırlat is an offline app designed for jotting your thoughts down quickly.

You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

02 Data Collected

The contents of the notes you write are not collected in any way. Specifically:

  • Identifying details such as name, email address, or phone number are not collected
  • Location data is not collected
  • The contents of your notes are never sent to the developer or any other party

We collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics about how you use the app through Google Analytics for Firebase: app opens, session length, device model, operating system version, and rough country/language. This data is tied to an anonymous app instance ID assigned by Google; it is never matched with your name, your email, or your note content. See section 7 for details.

03 Where Your Notes Are Stored

The notes you write are stored on your device only, in the protected local storage area the operating system reserves for apps. Other apps on your device cannot access this area.

Notes are not uploaded to a server, synced to an account, or transferred to your other devices.

04 Device Backups

Your notes are not included in your device's backups. On Android, automatic backup and device-to-device transfer are turned off; on iOS, the app's data is marked to be excluded from iCloud and iTunes backups.

As a result, your notes never reach any cloud. For the same reason, if you switch phones or delete the app, your notes will not come back.

05 Clipboard Use

When you swipe a kept note to the right, only that note's text is copied to your device's clipboard. This happens only at your explicit request. The app does not read your clipboard.

06 Reminders

You can set a reminder on a note, and you can also choose to be nudged once a day when notes are waiting for a decision. Both notifications are scheduled entirely on your device: the time and the text to be shown are handed to the operating system's own notification system and are not sent to any server. The app does not use push notification infrastructure and does not generate a notification token.

When a reminder fires, the first part of your note's text appears in the notification — so it becomes readable on your lock screen. You may prefer not to set a reminder on a sensitive note.

Notifications require an operating system permission. It is requested when you set your first reminder — not when you first open the app — and can be revoked from your phone settings at any time.

07 Third-Party Services

We collect usage statistics with Google Analytics for Firebase (see section 2) — an analytics service operated by Google LLC. The collected data is transmitted to Google's servers and processed under Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Beyond that, Fırlat contains no advertising network, crash reporting tool, or social media component. No other third-party software development kit (SDK) that collects user data is used.

When you tap the support link inside the app, your device's email app opens. From that point on, the privacy policies of that app and your email provider apply.

08 Permissions

Fırlat does not ask for camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, or photo permissions.

Only two permissions are used: internet access (for the anonymous usage statistics in section 2) and notification permission (requested only when you set a reminder — see section 6). If you do not grant notification permission, the rest of the app keeps working as it is.

Reminders are scheduled so as not to require the exact-alarm permission; because of this, a notification may arrive a few minutes after its target time.

09 Deleting Your Data

All of your notes are under your control. You can delete notes one by one from within the app. When you remove the app from your device, all of the app's local data is deleted along with it.

Because the developer holds none of your data, there is no separate deletion request for you to send.

10 Security

Your notes are protected by the operating system's app sandbox. The app does not additionally encrypt notes on its own; the security of the data depends on your device's screen lock and device encryption settings. We recommend using a screen lock on your device.

11 Children's Privacy

Fırlat is not marketed to children. The app collects no personal data from anyone, children included; the usage statistics in section 2 are anonymous and not identified at the level of an individual.

12 Your Legal Rights

Under GDPR, KVKK, and similar data protection legislation you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection. Because your note content is never processed, these rights are already moot with respect to that data — the content is on your device only and entirely under your control.

For the anonymous usage data collected with Google Analytics for Firebase, Google's own data processing procedures apply (see section 7).

If you have a question or request, write to info@gezip.app.

13 Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the current text is published with the app's new version and the effective date above is changed. If there is a material change in our data processing practices, it will be noted in the release notes.
